hi seth!
i hope that u are not one of those 40 year old perverts sitting at a
computer getting off on someone's personal problems.
here's my problem: i think that my friend is obsessed w/ Dawson's Creek
because ever since Jack's new hair, he has changed his. Dawson's Creek
is a great show and i watch it whenever i happen to see that it's on,
but when does something become an obsession?
and, what is reality?
i hope u post my question on your original idea of a site.

Joey Potter

Dear Joey Potter,

I have to admit, I had a bit of trouble with your problem at first, but after finally finding out when this Dawson's River Kids show was showing and watching as much of it as I could bear, I finally found out who this Jack guy was. Now I understand your concern for your friend. But before I go on to help you with your query, I would like to address an issue: Anyone sending in a question should please try to keep it to one question per message. Thanks. Anyway, according to a source of mine, an obsession is "a persistent preoccupation with an idea or emotion." So, if you notice your friend making this show a priority over all other things, you might say that he is obsessed. But if he just watches it whenever he happens to see it on, as you do, I don't think you have a reason to be concerned. As for your question about reality, it is just anything that is true to you. It's the totality of all existing things.
